Residental Repair & Renovation
Program focuses on assisting persons 60 years of age or older, who are at risk of falling, to live independently in their homes by providing and installing assistive devices in the bathroom such as:
- grab bars;
- raised toilet seats;
- bath bench; and
- hand held shower heads.
Eligibility for this program requires an in-home functional fall assessment of person’s bathrooms for persons who have fallen or who are at risk of falling.
Assessments are conducted by clinically trained staff, occupational therapists, and/or physical therapists, to assess mobility and the environments of the person at risk of falling.
Services are available to residents of Fulton, Marshall, Peoria, Stark, Tazewell and Woodford Counties.
